Community Food Bank Project – Go Givers

Team 3 had a fantastic day at TESCO on Friday! Pupils were very busy giving out leaflets, collecting food and buying ingredients to donate to the food bank.

In less than 2 hours, pupils filled 10 crates with food donations! According to the ladies who worked at the food bank, this is more than they normally would collect in over a 2 day period!

A big well done to TEAM 3 today and thank you to all of the volunteers, parents and grandparents who came down to TESCO to support us and donate food!

Next, pupils will visit Shildon Alive Food Bank to find out where the donated food goes and who it helps within our community.
