March 8th Wider Reopening!

23rd February 2021 By davidchristie

Good morning everyone,

After weeks of speculation and following the Prime Minister’s announcements yesterday regarding the roadmap out of lockdown, it is official – all children are returning to school on March 8th!

The staff and I are extremely pleased and excited regarding a return of all children to school and we cannot wait to give each of them a very warm welcome back into their Teams!

School organisation from March 8th will revert to the measures and procedures which were in place – and which worked so successfully for us all – in the Autumn term.

COVID guidance and restrictions will remain in place; however, as always, every effort will be made to ensure that these measures do not negatively impact on children’s mental health, wellbeing and enjoyment of being in school.

I have attached an update to all parents/ carers regarding school organisation and plans for wider reopening.

Thank you all for you continued support, cooperation and patience over these last few challenging months. It is with great hope and expectation that we may all begin at last to look forward to a return to normality.

I look forward to welcoming all children back to school on 8th March!

Take care all.

Mr C.
