Enhanced Healthy Schools Award
Congratulations to all! Stanley Crook Primary has been recognised as being committed to and actively working towards improving health and well being outcomes for all our children.
Many, many thanks to parents and carers for helping us to achieve this award. Special thanks to parents for adhering to our Healthy Lunchbox Policy i.e no fizzy drinks, pasties or sugary food and to those parents who came to our Sex and Relationships Policy guidance workshops.
Also the FISCH (Family Initiative Supporting Children’s Health) was a huge success, thanks again for your support! TEAM – Together Everyone Achieves More
ICT Mark Accreditation
We are delighted to hold the ICT Mark Accreditation. Stanley Crook Primary has been recognised with the ICT Mark for demonstrating commitment to and continual improvement through ICT.
In order to keep this commitment, and drive ICT for our children we continue to work hard in this area, especially towards E-safety.
Many, many thanks to parents/carers who attended our E-safety workshops, we still have leaflets available in school, or visit our policies section of the website for more information.
Our staff have attended various training courses and our children have set E-safety lessons and are being constantly reminded to be ‘internet safe’ via programmes like Smartie the Penguin, Hectors World (KS1), Thinkyouknow.co.uk, Digizen.org.uk and the Smart Crewe – all can be accessed by parents. We urge you to visit these sites – SAFETY FIRST. Visit our e-Safety section for further e-Safety guidance.
