Good Luck Year 6!

As we prepare to enter the assessment period for our Year 6 pupils, I, and all of the staff at Stanley Crook Primary School, would like to offer our congratulations to each of them for their effort and hard work in our school while preparing for their examinations. Our Year 6 cohort is full of outstanding individuals, with a range of personalities and an array of significant strengths. The most important aspect of each of their personalities is not how good they may or may not be at mathematics, nor how well they can read or how neat their handwriting is; but rather how wonderful each of them are with regards their attitude to one another and the support they demonstrate for their T.E.A.M. (Together Everyone Achieves More) on a daily basis. Our Year 6 pupils have a clear understanding of the values of respect, tolerance, liberty, the principle of freedom of expression and the importance of individual and social responsibility and it is these attributes which will ensure that they achieve well in their studies and continue to develop and grow into confident, independent and successful citizens of the future.

I am extremely confident that each of our Year 6 pupils will enjoy many successes in their assessments next week and enjoy the credit which they all so richly deserve. Good Luck, Year 6!
