A warm welcome back to school

I would  like to wish everyone a very warm welcome back to school and best wishes for 2016! I hope that you and your families enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing Christmas break. We all have an extremely exciting term ahead with excellent learning opportunities for all pupils across the curriculum.

Our whole-school outing to Darlington Civic Theatre on Thursday will, as always, be an enjoyable day for all! This year, we are going to be entertained by Britain’s Got Talent winners, Ashleigh and Pudsey in ‘Cinderella’. I anticipate that the pupils will arrive back in Stanley Crook for approximately 5:15 p.m.. Unless arranged for collection from Sunniside, please collect your children from Moore’s Taxis/ Bus stop.

Best wishes again for a happy and healthy 2016.

Mr D Christie
