Team Donaldson Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Miss Brown began her journey working with young children when she qualified from New College Durham with a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in July 2012. She has worked within a range of different settings including private nurseries and mainstream schools. However, she began her career as a Teaching Assistant by working as a one to one support for a child on the Autistic Spectrum. Since then, Miss Brown has gone on to work with children throughout Key Stage 1, although most of her career has been spent working with children in Early Years as this is where her heart truly lies.
Since coming to work at Stanley Crook Primary School in February 2016, Miss Brown has qualified as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant and excels in supporting the young children in her care to learn and grow in a dynamic and fun environment.
When Miss Brown isn’t at school, she loves nothing more than travelling and spending time with her family and her two dogs.
