Pupils will be seeking signatures from our school community in notice of support for our campaign to reduce the speed limit outside of our school. Currently, the road is set as a National Speedlimit highway and it is our aim to persuade the Local Authority to reduce the Speedlimit to 30m.p.h.
Over the next four weeks, pupils from our Rights Respecting UNICEF group will be at our school gate at the end of the school day to obtain signatures for the petition and they will then present the signatures to full council meeting during their visit to County Hall on June 22nd.
A copy of the petition is also in our main entrance and available to sign when visitors are welcomed to school.
We look forward to receiving your support with this campaign.
