I enjoyed a fun morning in Team 5 today as I was invited to act as judge and jury in the case of ‘The Rat and the Ship’s Captain’ (a poem which pupils have been studying as part of their English unit). Pupils had prepared a defence and prosecution linked to the rat being able to stay on board ship or being removed. Both sides presented excellent arguments!
