This morning, Team Dahl have been finding out what patience is and why patience is a good quality to have.
The children thought about times when you have to be patient and when we find it difficult to be patient. They listened to the story of the Hare and the Tortoise to help us to understand that taking your time can reap many rewards.
The children then played the Pom Pom blowing game where the children had to blow the Pom Pom along the line, using only a straw. If the PomPom left the line, they had to stop and start again. (A quick and easy game to teach patience.)
The children all made a Patience Turtle to reflect on what patience means to them and when it is difficult to be patient.Amazing work from everyone!
