Goodbye, Year 6 and Good Luck!

A big well done to our Year 6 children for presenting an outstanding  Year 6 Leavers’ Assembly on Wednesday. After two academic years, which have been significantly affected by COVID-19, it was great to welcome parents/ carers to school to watch the assembly and show their support to their children. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed sharing in celebrating the achievements of the Year 6s and in also sharing their memories of their time at Stanley Crook Primary School!

The Class of 2021 have much to be proud of and much to look forward to! Each of them has shown great resilience and determination during the last 18 months in the way they have continued to engage in their school work and not allow the COVID crisis to adversely impact their outcomes. More importantly, they have each been fantastic friends to one another and have supported each other through the most challenging of times. On a daily basis, they have demonstrated the values of friendship, teamwork, resilience, honesty and courage. In their achievements, they have shown great fortitude and they have left an indelible legacy on our school! They will be missed; however, they all have better and brighter days ahead of them and I wish each of the every success in their futures! Well done, Year 6—be proud!

Congratulations to all of the children on their positive end of year reports. It was wonderful to read comments from teachers which highlighted the achievements of the children this year! Great work,TEAM Stanley Crook!

Have a wonderful summer break!
