In R.E today, children in Team Dahl have been thinking about recognising, naming and describing some religious artefacts, places and practises by learning about the Hindu ritual of Puja.
Children enjoyed investigating the puja tray, what each item is used for and how it involves our five senses. Children had fun setting up their own shrine with offerings for the murtis and moving through the ritual. Some of the children even enjoyed having a Bindi placed on their forehead. The children did such a super job that I had to visit them to have a look at the fantastic shrine!
