Pupils from our UNICEF Rights Respecting Group, along with myself and Mr Teasdale, have supported Durham County Council and local Councillors launch the new village play park in Stanley Crook.
Part of a wider scheme run by DCC, Stanley Crook has benefited from a share of the £1.75 million which has been invested in regeneration projects across the county.
Along with our Local Authority representative on our school Governing Body, Cllr, John Hart, and Mr Teasdale (UNICEF RRSA Lead in school), pupils from school played a central role in designing the improvements to their local park and have already begun to enjoy the many new pieces of play and exercise equipment now on offer.
Great work everyone!
