To correspond with the forthcoming Rio Olympics and ‘International Olympic Day’, we will be hosting our annual Sports Day on Thursday 23rd June. As this year is ‘Olympic Year’, the format of Sports Day will be different to that of previous years. During the afternoon, pupils from each Team will all participate is a range of Olympic style events to gain points to support their Team.
Activities will include Javelin, Long Jump, Hurdles and a Penalty Shoot-Out plus many more and these will be completed by each Team and will provide a carousel of exciting and challenging events. We hope that this organisation will provide increased levels of participation for all of our pupils across all of the events and will also provide parents/ carers an excellent opportunity to follow their child(ren) around each of the events showing their encouragement and support.
Sports Day will begin at 13:30.
