TEAMWORK

In this morning’s assembly, we focused on Teamwork.

Each week this year, children and staff will focus on a specific ‘value’ and promote this in and around school. Staff will discuss and encourage the children to find ways in which to demonstrate this ‘value’ in lessons, when playing with their friends and at home with family.

In our Celebration Assembly each Friday, one child – who has demonstrated the weekly value the best – will be awarded a special Values Champion certificate as a reward for their efforts.

The ‘value’ this week in TEAMWORK!

With the start of a new school year, teamwork is central in ensuring we all achieve our goals and support each other when we may find things particularly difficult.

TEAM = Together Everyone Achieves More.

The children were absolute superstars in the assembly, as we reflected on our School Mission and discussed the importance of teamwork in and out of school.

We looked at different types of teams and also how various animals rely of teamwork to achieve their goals and support one another.

At the end of the assembly, we all agreed that by working together as a team, we can:

– achieve something we cannot do alone;
– complete something more quickly;
– negotiate and compromise with others;
– support those who are finding it difficult.

Great work, TEAM Stanley Crook! Be proud!

Mr C.
