The Big Pedal 2016

For the next two weeks, pupils and staff will be participating in The Big Pedal 2016 event. The Big Pedal is the UK’s largest inter-school cycling and scooting challenge that inspires pupils, staff and parents to choose two wheels for their journey to school. The event supports the significant amount of work we have completed in school over the past two years around promoting healthy lifestyles, sustainable forms of travel and care for the environment.

Pupils (and parents) are encouraged to travel to school by bicycle or scooter etc. for the next two weeks. Prizes will be presented to the most ‘active’ pupils. On Friday 22nd, pupils will have an opportunity to complete our Big Pedal obstacle course and complete fun activities in class for the change to win more fun prizes.
